Family Day at the Docks – Our first open day in 2021!

Family Day at the Docks – Our first open day in 2021!

We’re excited to share our first open day to the public in collaboration with the London Fire Brigade Museum!

We’re opening the docks to families and visitors to explore firefighting history and get hands on with Second World War artefacts and firefighting kit.

Meet firefighters from nearby Millwall station will be on hand to answer questions, alongside a modern working fire engine.

Explore Massey Shaw with guided tours and find out more about the heroic actions of LFB in the Second World War.

The event will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 August between 11am and 4pm.

Address:
Dockland Scout Project,
631 Manchester Road,
Dollar Bay, London,
E14 3NU

We recommended using public transport to visit as parking is restricted and very limited. There is a pay and display car park nearby, view on Google Maps. Disabled users please contact us for access information and read our helpful information here.

This event will be taking place by open water on the Dockland Scout Project quayside. Please ensure you keep your children under close supervision when attending, for their safety.

Due to health and safety considerations, we will be limited to having 120 people in the venue at any one time. As such, there may be a need to queue if there are a high number of visitors.
